Add your apple cider to a saucepan and cook on medium-high heat, stirring frequently until it cooks down to a syrup-like consistency. Allow to cool to room temperature.
Beat the cream cheese until it is smooth.
Add in the caramel sauce, cider, salt, and vanilla and beat well for about 4 minutes.
Allow it to sit for a few minutes for the flavors to bloom before serving (you can also add more caramel and/or cider to taste.
Top with toffee bits.
